The governor of Nablus, Ibrahim Ramadan, infuriated armed men in Nablus when he spoke about the mothers who encourage their sons to commit suicide. The statement drew an angry response from the armed groups. by Asaf Gabor 11th of Tishrei, 5th of September (06/10/2022) ... The governor said in the same interview that he sat down with the armed groups in the city of Nablus several times and will sit down with them to reach agreements and protect them from arrests, but so far the meetings have been of no use. He emphasized that he would not accept any other weapon except that of the PA: "There is only one weapon and it is that of the PA. I sat down several times with the Shabaab in the old city of Nablus for fear of Palestinian bloodshed. The popular resistance should not be at the expense of Palestinian blood.".. In response to the segment of the broadcast that was distributed on Facebook, the governor of Nablus was cursed with curses and accused of treason... The governor referred to the militants as unruly youths who need to be protected: "I fear for their lives, they are not aware of the true value of their blood. They are our children and their blood must not be shed. I want to protect them because Palestinian blood is holy blood and they must be saved even if they are not convinced of this ".
