Dear Dr Pipes,
Iran's death sentence for Ali Reza Akbari was executed recently. Mr Akbari was a British-Iranian person of Irani origin. He was accused of spying for Britain. I do not have information about Mr Akbari's guilt or innocence but it is alleged that no proof of his guilt was given. Iran is the biggest executioner of political prisoners in the world.

Luckily more people are now talking against Islam as an anti-freedom force in our world. I read about Akbari's execution on NBC. I was happy to see that NBC used the word theocracy to describe Iran. It would have been better if NBC has not omitted the word Islamic when they called Iran a theocracy.
All theocracies in the world are Islamic and they all are trigger happy. It is good to see that even the liberal media described Iran more correctly than before.
