There is another important aspect...Reader comment on item: Ukrainian Refugees' Unexpected Impact Submitted by Marco Agnoletti (Italy), Feb 2, 2023 at 16:54 The overwhelming majority of Ukrainians who fled the Russian aggression will want to return to Ukraine once hostilities end, even though this country has suffered enormous damage to public and private property. They have no intention of settling in our countries, even if they would be perfectly integrated. They are Christians, Orthodox or Catholics, there would be no problems of coexistence between us. They respect our customs, which are partially theirs too. Almost everyone respects our laws, but if they are arrested for committing crimes they do not cry out racism or Ukrainianphobia.
