silence is deafening

Reader comment on item: Suspicious Neighbors Prevent Jihadi Attacks

Submitted by djg (Canada), Dec 25, 2005 at 18:11

I found that the response of ALL Muslim countries to the comments made by the President of Iran over the last several weeks to be deafening. By that I mean that their collective silence was deafening. WIth not one response from the Muslim world I can only surmise that the Muslim world is in full agreement with the Iranian Presidents call to "wipe Israel off the map."

Is this silence by the muslim world their way of trying to show that they are peaceful? The silence of the muslim world on this makes one thing loud and clear and that is that Islam is not peaceful and the followers of Islam have no interest in peace. After all, whose side were the Muslim countries on when Jews were going to the gas chambers during the second world war?
