MODERATE ISLAM?Reader comment on item: Are the Palestinians the World's Most Radicalized Population? Submitted by DONVAN (United States), Dec 30, 2005 at 11:55 The Hindu family's experience in a Muslim "Court" should be glaring and conclusive proof that there is no "Moderate" Islam.Any moderation is derived only from the numbers of Muslims per square foot. The Koran itself is a blueprint for subjugation and violence. To "Moderate" islam one must first "Moderate" the koran, an impossible task. While I applaud Dr.Pipes intention, i.e to discourage "anti Muslimism" by promoting the notion of some mythological "Moderate Islam". Experience has shown that Muslims will follow(Submit) to whatever a maniac cleric is babbling.nSo far, the MPSF (Muslims per square foot) in the US has prevented the violence seen in other countries. The notion that we in the US have assilimated the Muslim population and will not experience the fate of Europe etc is only wishful thinking. If we had 10% instead if 2% Muslim population, the process would be the same. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
