Reader comment on item: Syria: The Cuba of the Middle East?

Submitted by mohamed hosni (United Arab Emirates), Feb 26, 2006 at 14:06

syria`s hostile view of israeli presence is a right it should preserve. syria does not want any diplomatic relations with israel and it has the right to do so. so why does america call syria a sponsor of terrorsim and does not call saudi arabia, iraq, united arab emirates, oman, bahrain etc or is it because of thier huge oil supplies to the us.syria is only trying to survive in a hostile enviroment, just like israel in the past.

why doesnt america try to slow down the process of imperializing the middle east, i can assure the bush administration that any armed conflict with syria will ignite a war that niether america nor its allies can handle.
and as they say "Every nation has a right and fall" remember this," UNCLE SAM"
