where would malcolm be with out the nationReader comment on item: An Original Man: The Life and Times of Elijah Muhammad Submitted by anderson jones (Canada), Mar 12, 2006 at 22:38 Do any one, really think that malcolm, if he didn't join the N.O.I would he be where he was or is today? there are too many attempts to seperate the nation from malcolm. lets look at who was in the nation farrakhan, muhammad ali , and malcolm x, theres no other organization that produce men such as these who each follow the hon. Elijah muhammad for 10 years or more.also , note if malcolm really left the nation he would have left his X and not taken the name shabazz for his family, shabazz is a N.O.I name , only in the nation you can find the name shabazz. There is much talk about malcolm making the N.O.I then why didn't every one left with him.
