A friend of mine recently defended the Arab world's interests in Jerusalem by suggesting that Mohammad "rose to heaven from the Church of the Rock"(sic). I explained to him that there are misunderstandings surrounding the Quran passages, but Daniel Pipes' article succinctly provides an excellent overview.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
