NC gun law saved lives. Now, if we could only protect ourselves from SUVs!Reader comment on item: More on the North Carolina Jihadi, Mohammed Taheri-azar Submitted by Greg (United States), Apr 1, 2006 at 19:29 "I did intend to use a handgun to murder the citizens and residents of Chapel Hill, North Carolina but the process of receiving a permit for a handgun in this city is highly restricted and out of my reach at the present, most likely due to my foreign nationality."- Mohammed Reza Taheri-Azar, misguided servant of Allah. I guess we have to thank the Chapel Hill commissioners for making it harder for Islamic nutjobs like Taheri-Azar to get hold of a handgun. I shudder to think what would have happened if Taheri had gotten hold of a piece. There's no denying his intelligence: he was smart enough to know that if you want to protect yourself while you kill dosens of other, less protected people, you get an SUV instead of a Geo Metro. SUV = WMD Do the math!
