Lindh:Poster boy for Jihad lite -Soon to be a major motion picture?Reader comment on item: John Walker Lindh - The Next Malcolm X? Submitted by Ben van de Polder (United States), Apr 11, 2006 at 16:12 According to GWU professor Turley, "...John Walker Lindh walked right out of central casting as a vicious traitor who betrayed his country. Upon further examination, he appears to be a confused kid playing a low-level role.."What he fails to mention is that Lindh was present at the killing of compatriot Mike Spann- the US agent who was attacked at a prison where Lindt was being held and viciously battered to death by Lindh's fellow Muslims.Lindh's videotape made for Al Qaeda has him telling his fellow Americans that : "Allah willing, the streets of America will run red with blood, matching drop for drop the blood of America's victims," "What took place on September 11th was but the opening salvo in the global war on America." The next attacks, he adds, "could come at any moment." If being touted as the new Malcolm X means 'moderate Jihad' then the death penalty should be compulsory for anyone aiding or abetting terrorists.
