This is pure theatrics, plain and simple. The Americans are desperate. They want out of Iraq and they want out now. All this is being done for the MSM and for public consumption of a gullible public. The Arabs know a quisling when they see one and many here are not fooled by Bush's rosy vision of Iraq. I couldn't care less about the Shia, Sunni, or Kurds in Iraq to be frightfully honest with you. And could we pleeeease refrain from using the phrase 'Iraqi people'! Iraqi implies a nationality, not a 'people' (not unlike the Jews who genuinely are a people). My sympathies are with the dwindling lot of Assyrian Christians who, it must be said, were actually better off under Saddam than they are now. What a demon-filled place Iraq is!
