Two States is Suicide for Both!Reader comment on item: Hope for the Middle East [as Palestinians Face Defeat] Submitted by Mike Nargizian (United States), May 23, 2002 at 00:42 One point nobody realizes is that the two state solution is almost a guarantee of a future armaggedon-like conflict in the region for many reasons:1) Bringing 6 million supposed "refugees" into the tiny West Bank will guarantee radicalization and unending death. 2) Certifying a state would allow the PLO terrorist state to bring Hezbullah, Al Qaeda and PFLP guerillas into the West Bank to terrorize Israelis and any moderate Palestinians there, as Hamas and the PA have done over the past 8 years. 3) Once the Jews are outpopulated in the region, there will be unending attempts to take down the Israeli state and blow apart its infrastructure, with unending accusations of Israel using their resources to cheat the the "poor" Palestinians out of their ancient and rightful "rights" 4) Once the Jewish state gives up its claim to the West Bank and (G-d forbid!!) the Old City or the "Real Jerusalem" (which they had a majority in since 1850 prior to the Jordanese army "Judenreining" it), the Israelis will never be able to settle in those towns and areas of their ancient birthright and from which they have lived continuously for THOUSANDS of years. Every day they are finding ancient scrolls, rocks and remnants of their ancient existence there. Every day the "Nazi" Al Wakf is digging up its 60 foot deep tunnels into the Mount and dumping all of the anicent artifacts from the Biblical Temples to turn the hill into a giant mosque soon and question any Judaic existence ever there. 5) Buying into the fantasy that a fence or a two state solution will help the situation is buying into doing something for a bad situation only to make it deathly worse. This is what Oslo ended up being: making an unpleasant situation into a deadly violent and dangerous one for Israel.
