Christians wanting to convert Jews are not anti-SemitesReader comment on item: "Muslim Group Targets Jewish Holidays" Submitted by Ted Hewlett (Canada), Jun 30, 2006 at 14:18 I can certainly agree with the main thrust of the original article referred to where you say that Jewish organizations should redirect their attention from worrying about Christians who wish them to convert to Muslim extremists who wish them dead. The sometimes virulent attacks on Christians who see it as their duty to bring blessing to Jews by converting them seem to show very little understanding of the fact that these Christians are simply following a mandate of their belief. The love for Israel of some of these Christians sometimes leads to rather extreme pro-Israeli positions of refusing to see faults in the state of Israel. I agree with the main point of the original article, but please do not refer to those who desire to convert Jews as anti-semites. A desire to convert others to one's faith does not indicate hatred for them. Jews, I understand, were once ardent in seeking to convert others, and most religions seek converts.
