Sarcastic Infidel has no answersReader comment on item: What Jewish Ties to Jerusalem? Submitted by tariq (Pakistan), Aug 7, 2006 at 05:06 Thank you Tariq for responding to my comments and demonstrating to me the incredible scientific content within the Holy Qur'an You're Welcome! which, regrettably us Infidels can't now, and perhaps never will be able to understand. You said it! As an example, Aya 18:86 states the following...: no it doesnt state that "Until when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it to set in a miry fount; and hard by he found a people". I erroneously thought that Muhammad(PBUH) meant that the sun set in a muddle puddle. MY MISTAKE! i forgot the name of your translator was it rodwel or palmer? anyways HE was wrong. when ibn katheer didnt interpret this verse to mean that the sun goes in murky water, how can your translator? and ibn katheer thought that the earth really IS flat! so it not your mistake its the translators mistake. ur mistake is thast u didnt read my comments. if u had then u wouldnt have made this-in ur own words-foolish comment Upon reading your response to me, I studied Aya 18:86 this is probably wot happened: u went to an anti islamic website, saw the islamophobes distorting ayats innterpretation by a kafir and so u posted it here. wen i gave u a response, u had no rebuttal. at first u were serious and really wanted an honest discussion, but wen u saw that i have quoted absurd verses from The Corrupted Scriptures(OT NT) as well as tafsirs, the best u could do was start being sarcastic. no reply given. now read theses verses again: Are they not on the other side Jordan, by the way where the sun goeth down, in the land of the Canaanites, which dwell in the champaign over against Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh? (Deuteronomy 11:30) And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars (Revelation 12:1) so u see, the sun DOES GO DOWN! It goes down in the land of the Canaanites!! it must be really hot there! and that woman. who is she? she wears the sun and stands on the moon and wears stars. is this the bible or some greek pagan corrupted myth? (and i thought that neil armstrong was the first man on the moon!) and y dont u reply to my proof of the 'rather foolish reference' of the earth being flat in the bible. in case u missed it, here it is again: "In them [the heavens], a tent is fixed for the sun, who comes out like a bridegroom from his wedding canopy, rejoicing like a strong man to run his race. His rising is at one end of the heavens, his circuit touches their farthest ends; and nothing is hidden from his heat (Psalm 19:4-6)." it says NOTHING is hidden from its heat. that is only possible if the earth is flat. on the round earth the half almost half of the area of earth will have darkness. Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them;(mathew 4:8) all the kingdoms? how can u see the kingdoms at the other side of the planet? So the bible teaches that the earth is flat and round like a disc. no wonder the church persecuted galileo or whatever his name. now be a good believing christian and start believing that the earth is flat. and the sun goes down somewhere in palestine or the waters 'behind' it. i know that replying to theses verses can be difficult, y dont u just reply to my other comments? like whose translation of the quran u 'ordered' from the internet, wen dozens are there or free?! and wot exactly shocked u when u read the Quran? y didt u order the quran and not just downloaded it? is it true that u are a hypocrite who reads books written by islamophobes out to earn money while learning islam, but refuses to read anti christian books like those by Bart B. Ehrman an Evangelical SCHOLAR unlike ibn Warraq? wil u order D Ehrmans 'Misquoting Jesus'? most probably not. you are afraid of the proof he will give u tht the bible is corrupted and that Jesus is not god. so wot u will do is that u wil read ur bibles and hope that u wont burn in hell. see this: This is He who came by water and blood--Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are Three that bear Witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and theses three are one. And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and theses agree as one read the Revised Standard Version. u wont find the bold part cuz its a corruption! and here is what I learned from the information really contained in that Aya. Aya 18:86 means that: the earth is a globe with a radius of 7,928 miles, that it circles the sun, traveling a distance of 587,483,260 miles, that it takes 365.25 days to circle the sun, and that it travels at a speed of 18.6 miles per second. more sarcasm. the verse doesnt say that the sun moves round the earth, or that it goes in murky water. but you just can accept it can u? And I concede that the Bible does not contain similar scientific information. it may. it is possible that some parts of the bible are not corrupted. bible says that the earth is flat like i proved. it even says that women can wear the sun as a cloak and stand on the cloth with round balls of hot gas(stars) on her head!! any ways the Quran does not say that the sun goes in water. the bible says that it goes in the 'land of the Canaanites' Poor Canaanites! No doubt as we learn more about our universe, we will find that all information is actually contained in the Holy Qur'an. actually? where else should it be? in the corrupted bible? indeed it is there: satan takes jesus to the top of a very high mountain and shows him ALL the kingdoms of the world, on this flat earth. and the sun also goes down in the land of the canaanites where a women wear it as a cloak. and dont forget, the sun is a bridegroom who rests in his wedding canopy inside the tent. wen he runs his race like a strong man, NOTHING is hidden from his heat because the earth is a FLAT ROUND DISC. The only dilemma is that Infidels will never understand the true content of the Holy Qur'an and will always rely on Muslims to translate information for us. you still dont understand that the bible is corrupted do u? "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" " (Matthew 28:19) so go read the bible and be happy that it says 'name' and not names. because this way christ is made to be seen as god in the bible. But be careful! dont open the RSV bible because it has removed the interpolations! the above are verses from 1 John5:6-8. youll find this verse in old bibles such as the King James Version.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
