Reader comment on item: Arguing over "The Danger Within: Militant Islam in America"

Mr. Daniel Pipes; You have correctly said that wherever an Islamic system came , it resulted in tyranny, oppression and a very closed theocratic state. People who have any doubts about it should read Islamic history written by early Muslims (not by later apologists who write very selectively) , and study Quran and hadeeses. An easier and time saving way is to go on websites like "realislam.org", "secularislam.org", &"faithfreedom.org" ,hosted by moderate muslims (or ex-muslims, whatever you choose to call them), and then check out their references if you doubt any statements. They can also read books by Ali Dashti and Anwar Sheikh. People still believing that the Islamic system is the best are more than welcome to move to one of the 50 or so Muslim countries ( if they let them in, that is) and live happily. Nazia Khan
