Reader comment on item: Muslims Love Bin Laden

Submitted by Simon (France), Oct 21, 2006 at 08:24

Hi,

Responding to your article about the popularity of Sheikh Usama, no need to say that as usual the official version is different from the reality of the ground. I myself respect Sheikh Usama, and I am not ashamed of it nor hide it. It 's simply my point of view that this man has given back the honor to the islamic nation, which is now respected. An honor that has been stamped by the Westeners in general and the Americans in particular. September-11 th has reminded to all that Islam is not something to deal with according to a political agenda. I would like to add something very important to me. I sincerely believe that the event of 9/11 was a divine punition and Bin Laden was only a tool for applying it.
