response to Usman

Usman makes the point that not all Muslims are terrorists. While that is true, it would seem that wherever we go in the world, there are Muslims prepared to go to paradise by killing themselves,while killing innocents. Yes Usman says he condemns that as well.

Usman cannot deny however that militant, aggressive, and evil Islam is well and truly on the march. Remember the violent reaction to the cartoons of Mohammed? Contrast that, with a comedian named Dave Allen, some years ago, and his hilarious sketches on Roman Catholics, and especially the Pope. How many Roman Catholics took to the streets demanding the beheading of Dave Allen?

As a Roman Catholic, I thoroughly enjoyed them. Islam, or at least a large percentage of Muslims seem to be only too ready to take offence, and demand the most barbaric punishments for the supposed givers of the supposed offence. What is peaceful, and law abiding in that? Usman also wants to know what is being done to stop 'Christian exceses' on Muslims.

Why did we go into Croatia? Why did we go into Afghanistan, if not to stop the Taliban, from oppressing other Muslims? The hopeless mess made in Iraq was at least done for the best of motives. Saddam Hussein was/is a monster, killing and torturing his own people. Yet Muslims all over the world condemn us for these, and other acts. No, the infamous actions of Al Queda on 9/11 were not a result of the invasion of Iraq, as some try to claim. it Happened before the invasion. Can Usman answer the question of what would happen to Christian places of worship, if and when Britain becomes a Caliphate? In other Muslim countries they are not allowed to exist at all.
