Ahmadinejad in original AP photo?

I agree with the commenter who notices the man in this new (found) pick is seemingly much taller than Ahmadinejad and thus is likely not him.

However, let's go back to the original AP pic. I never really bought the theory that the hostage taker directly to the right of the hostage (the hostage's left) was Ahmadinejad. There's certainly a passing resemblance, but one look at the nose (much thinner in the AP pic than Ahmadinejad's) was enough to convince me it wasn't him.

Now the guy in the sport jacket to the left of the above hostage taker is much closer to looking like Ahmadinejad in my opinion. The nose, facial features and the way his hair is parted, etc. Certainly, this photo (the original AP photo) is inconclusive at best--but if someone, who knew for certain, told me it was indeed Ahmadinejad I wouldn't bat an eye.
