The Kadima Paradox

Reader comment on item: The Future of Kadima

Submitted by Moshe (Israel), Nov 23, 2006 at 14:59

I totally agree with Dr. Pipes' analysis. I myself went through all the stages he describes:

In January, with Sharon's incapacitating stroke I was convinced that Kadima will fall apart in a matter of days.

When in spite of all my expectations, Kadima was still there at the elections, I was dead sure that it will be dealt a disastrous beating at the ballot box. But instead, to my consternation, Kadima won.

Following the March elections, in a record short period of less than 6 months since forming the Kadima led government, this coalition of miserable opportunists has managed to drag Israel from one disaster to other. And they continue to prove their incompetence day by day.

If I wouldn't be here to see it, I couldn't believe that such a thing is possible. It doesn't make sense! But it's here, and it's going on.

For how long?.....Your guess may be as good (or probably much better than) as my guess.
