Perhaps it is not fair to state of the Iraq Study Group that "not one of these individuals brings any expertise ... to the table."

Although naive about Iraq, if Vernon E. Jordan, Jr. can get Monica Lewinski a job, perhaps he could help find work for some of the unemployed in Iraq. Perhaps Sandra Day O'Connor could help sell the Iraqis on the compelling interest of diversity.

I understand the committee actually paid a visit to Iraq (Apparently they saw a large swath of the Green Zone). Like the original Innocents, their tour guides led them to only certain gift shops. It appears that their tour, and the souvenires and relics they brought home are every bit as authentic and precious as those procured by Mark Twain and his tour group.
