Short-term perhaps...Reader comment on item: NATO and Israel – New Friends Submitted by David W. Lincoln (Canada), Dec 26, 2006 at 14:18 Israel with a relationship with NATO. Sounds interesting, but I hope they are paying attention to what is going on in Afghanistan. Right now it is the Canadians, British, Americans and Dutch which have their soldiers where the bullets are flying, Poland is on the way, but the rest are content to have their soldiers where they are. So, I hope that Israel doesn't get roped into another example of the Peter & Paul Principle - 80% of the work is done by 20% of the people.
