shia in CAIRReader comment on item: CAIR's Los Angeles Fundraiser Submitted by Mia WazWaz (United States), Jan 8, 2007 at 01:23 As a person who is a big fan of CAIR and how much it contributes to the Muslim community, it shouldn't matter whether CAIR was shia or sunni, who cares? That is not the point. I dont care if one organization is orthodox jew, or more modern/liberal jewish, it's all the same to me. The only reason people say it's such a difference is because of the media influence and how it separates the two sects as a whole, if u care so much about the fact that the majority of CAIR's Members are Sunni, why don't u convert as a shia muslim and try to join?
