What I know!Reader comment on item: "Islamism is fascism" Submitted by Melinda Chaudhry (United States), Apr 5, 2003 at 21:13 I am married to a Pakistani for 14 years. I have been in the Islamic community equally as long. I have seen first hand from the so-called moderate muslims what the rest of America does ot see. Most of my inlaws even the ones born in this country harbor very antiamerican views. They have feelings of hatred for the country in which they live, raise and educate their children. They have no problem prospering from the American way of life and hating America at the same time. They support a brutal dictator over the country which gave them a prosperous and happy life. The problems that you adressed in this article are very real. The American people need to wake up and realize the threat that exists from this religion and the majority of its followers. In my opinion there is no such thing as a moderate muslim. They all harbor views of prejudice and hatred against America and Israel. Maybe if we could do something about the propaganda that these people are exposed to we could start to change opinion among the muslim world.
