Need to focus on other axis of evilReader comment on item: After Regime Collapse in Iraq Submitted by Hari Iyer (United States), Apr 14, 2003 at 14:02 It would be well worth and practical since our troops are in Iraq to focus on regime change in Syria followed by Iran, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan. These countries harbor terrorists who cause undue harm to civilization. After all, Bush can serve only one other term. What if a Democrat comes to power after Bush's second term? He or she may not pursue the goal. The goal is to secure our future from terrorists and countries that harbor terrorists and countries that have the potential to cause harm to the free world. We don't need the UN's approval. After all, the United States has people from all countries, more countries than the UN combined. There is nothing wrong to project American interests which are by default even if carried for gains for private enterprises, that is nothing to be shamed off. More people in totalitarian governments would trust UPS and FedEx than their own delivery system. Why not bring the benefits of theAmerican system to the politically starved people of these totalitarian countries? And lastly, we have an obligation to ensure that Israel doesn't have the constant threat of terrorism coming from Syria and Iran. These two countries harbor and finance Hezbollah and other terrorist garbage. Similarly, India has to constantly fight off islamic terrorists coming from Pakistan. Pakistan's Musharraf may be our friend for now, but his power is not secure and without him the mullahs would have the control of WMD.
