Submitted by nomad (United Kingdom), Mar 13, 2007 at 16:08 When I was in Eilat, I conversed with a left-wing Israeli who explained, in his own mind, how Barak knew that Arafat would never take an offer, no matter how generous the offer, or make any concessions either. I became a believer in that theory too and still am a believer today that Barak knew Arafat was scum.
