Moslem Countries Should Let Palestinians Become NationalsReader comment on item: Iraq's Weapons & The Road to War Submitted by Marc Weisburg (United States), Jun 3, 2003 at 13:31 Dear Dr. Pipes,It seems that the Palestinians don't have a homeland because their so-called moslem brothers and sisters have refused to adopt them. Many Palestinians have emigrated to the USA and become citizens but I would be surprised if Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Kuwait and other countries in the Middle East have granted them nationality. Is this just another way for Arab countries to take advantage of a bad situation and harass Israel all the while "looking out for their Palestinian brothers"? President Bush should put pressure on the Moslem world to reach out to the Palestinians by actually giving them citizenship in the countries they have served and built for the past generations. I like your work. I feel that you are earning a living by speaking the truth in a powerful way. Thanks, Marc
