Jews are the canary in the mineReader comment on item: The Politics of Muslim Anti-Semitism Submitted by Phil Greend (Canada), May 26, 2007 at 08:53 There is a huge problem with the racist thoughts of some people who are muslims. We can see this clearly when we see the attacks on the Jewish state of Israel. It is hard to believe that islam is the " religion of peace " when there are so many events of terror directed at the Jews of Israel. If islam is so wonderful there should be no need for the islamic people to feel that they must destroy the Jews, and later the Christians. We must see that this is a huge problem , terrorism is not going to go away on its own. First we must decide if we are to place our heads in the sand and say there is no problem, or if we are going to deal with the reality that is here. Hate leads to hate, we don't need that , what is necessary is for us to know that some muslims do actually wish for us to be dead. To think otherwise is dangerous. To say there are muslims who hate us , is not us being racist , it is us being honest. We have to decide if we are to be strong and hold on to our beliefs of freedom and respect for others or are we going to give in to those who would destroy us because we are not muslim.
