Britain's propaganda in the First World War

Dear Dr. Pipes, Please forgive me if this is the proper way to reach you and let me know how I can do so. The American Jewish World issue of May 4, contained a column by you in which you quoted Joel Fishman who discussed the reaction of the British public when they learned how they had been conned during the First World War.

Several of my American non-Jewish friends, especially Irish-Americans who had their own problems with Britain at the time have told me of similar reactions in their families. This would explain America's reluctance to enter the war until it had been attacked. This should be noted in articles about and histories of the time.
