The idiocy of religious conversionReader comment on item: Palestinian Anarchy Continues under Hamas Submitted by Seamus MacNemi (United States), Jul 12, 2007 at 19:43 The idea of "Religious Conversion" has been and always will be a political ploy made to satisfy those in power. It has absolutely no actual spiritual value what so ever. Either a person loves G-D and desires to live by HIS commandments or they do not and that is the end of it. It makes not a jot of difference what religion or theological doctrine is espoused beyond the unflinching devotion to G-D and HIS Commandments as written in the Torah. If that was all that Islam was seeking then there would be no conflict. But unfortunately Islam wants much more than what can be legitimately accredited by any man. Islam demands submission not only to G-D but as well to the illegitimate establishment of a man made institution as a representative of the will of G-D which it can never be. The Muslim Caliphate is much like the See of Rome in this respect as both are political institutions formed to support and to legitimize in the name of G-D the tyranny of those in power.
