America is in a sense held hostage and forced down defeatist paths by our own ideals and beliefs which are ridiculed by the Muslim world. We are resigned to treat everyone the same when in truth everyone is different from everyone else. Democrats or Republicans are all PC in one sense or another. No one can admit to "Arabs are different and that requires them being treated differently".

Arabs have an eight hundred year history of failure, despotic rule, Islamic medieval beliefs, strong misogynist societies, hatred of people other than themselves and lastly the greatest hatred of all- of themselves for being such failures. And this failure is impressed upon them each and every day but success not only in the West but in Asia lead by China, Japan, Korea and even Vietnam. Even India is showing signs of modernity while Pakistan backslides into fanatic Islamic fundamentalism.

That isolation from a world moving forward has repercussions and one of them is they are not us and it is foolish to think of them as your neighbor next door. They are not Japanese and not German. Both those nations were success stories before WW II. Not one Arab nation is a success story unless you include Gulf oil states. They do not produce or make anything anyone else would buy. They are in the lower basement as far as technology is concerned. They do not contribute in any way to the world at large except in birth rates. They have no Noble Prize winners except for an Egyptian novelist who was given the award because no other Arab in any field came even close of being in the running. Some still practice slavery such as in Sudan. They never apologized for their own long African slave trade which has resulted in more murders than did the Western African slave trade. Where does one stop?

They admire the bin Laden because they have no one else. They are miserable failures and their inferiority is not without some foundation. Add this all up and you have President Bush thinking they are just like us. Of course, President Carter gave the Taliban stingers to kill Soviet boys so the blame in US misconceptions and stupidity goes all around.

President Bush would have done a lot better watching the Dirty Dozen movie to decide on his Iraq policy than all the talks he had with fools like Wolfiwitz who told him Iraqis will be waving American flags. And let's not forget someone who is never mentioned - the yuppie Breamer who perhaps single-handedly was responsible for turning American victory into what we have today.
