Religious schools supported by taxpayersReader comment on item: Teach Arabic or Recruit Extremists? Submitted by janusz Kowalik (United States), Sep 5, 2007 at 16:23 No religious schools should be supported by taxpayers. Not Christian, Muslim or Jewish. Parents can send their children if they want to private religious brainwashing schools. Any religious indoctrination is very unfair because youngsters are not ready to reason and question religious principles. There is nothing wrong with establishing schools for linguistic education but even those scnools should be privately funded unless they include other subjects and not limited to one culture . Unfortunately it is practically impossoble to separate learning of the Arabic language from learning Koran and all political issues surrounding Islam as a ideology. Islamism is a totalitarian ideology similar to Communism and Nazism . It combines a religious phantasies with earthly issues of politics, jihad ,law, morality and so on. If we disallow publich funding for all religious schools in US then Muslims will not be singled out .
