Ingrams profiling far more sophisticated than visible ethnicityReader comment on item: Who Supports Israel[, Jews or Conservatives]? Submitted by Florence B. Sinow (United States), Sep 5, 2003 at 00:09 The article is illuminating. Somehow I had missed the Blair bigotry but, having grown up fighting off the instinct to throw Trollope and many other British writers across the room in painful reaction to words dripping with the insidious poison of prejudice, I was not surprised. I learned to take what I wanted from them and skip the rest. But this is different. Ingrams has nothing to offer. Does he also seek out articles bearing Arab sounding signatures? Did he love Mein Kampf? How does he feel about Daniel Pipes columns? I suppose he depends on CAIR publicity for that but how does he identify Jewish names? How can he be sure when seeking dependable sources of information? What does he do with Schwarz or Fidler, Becker, Mann? I can give him a variety of similar and other names which belong to garden variety Jews, Castilians (all Catholic), African-Americans (mostly Baptist but sometimes Methodist and other religious identities), and etc cetera. Is De Sola Pool recognizable, Velasco or Vitale? Some are definitely Jewish - others used by Jews and Christians. The man is stupid. Thank you for the information so that I can no longer be in danger of reading anything he might write. Hope this is not too hostile for your site.
