From Your Lips To G*d's Ears. Some Reasons Why I'm Less Optimistic

Hi Ynnatchkah:

I read as many of your postings as I can manage, especially when I'm feeling all negative and despondent. You once mentioned you were a legal resident immigrant here. Your belief and understanding for the founding and structure of our government, our country's "raison d'etre" and benign motivations are such a pleasure to read, they often bring tears to my eyes.

Your faith in Americans "waking up" and understanding in time to turn things around is encouraging and heartwarming. Mostly, American governments do things without an agenda for gain [like these moronic "Peace Talks" and pretending that Putin-Tsar is running a nascent democracy. When it comes to America's vested interests, our permanent foreign policy establishment is always working against us and for "others". [I've come to conclude that they're primary motivation is a desire for invitations to the better embassy parties, and of course, common garden variety liberal self-loathing and/or guilt].

Watch the coming elections closely. If Hillary or Obama [or any Dem] gets elected with a Democrat Congress in 2008, the deficit GWB miraculously reduced to $163B after the extreme costs of the 90's corporate scandals, subsequent stock market crash, 9/11, and pretty sizable wars in Afghanistan and Iraq [not to mention North Africa, Philippines, and Indonesia, Malaysia and the many areas of the world where we are assisting governments to stave off radical Jihadists and drug cartels], capped by this mortgage debacle and the concomitant loss of real property values here, that deficit will treble almost instantaneously and go up from there. Dems have promised they will raise Taxes "on the rich" - firstly, by NOT re-authorizing GWB's tax cuts. Our 14,000+ DJIA will dive because these "social democrats" and "progressives" [read: socialists] are hell-bent on redistributing 1/3 of our wealth [watch Obey, Rangel, Conyers, Reid, Pelosi & Clinton; maybe Jay Rockefeller too...they're all wealthy enough to afford to be socialists].

Needless to say, the "War on Terror" will become a "Bill of Particulars" or "Complaint" against "Freedom Fighters", mishandled in the courts, with the guilty released by nullifying juries... and the entire effort will be tied into Gordian Knots. Intel sources & methods will be [even more blatantly] "leaked" and undermined, and the animals might just get a real shot at causing serious chaos.

As negatively as I view the state of denial and foolish flights from reality the American people have been revealing about this war for Civilization, I am livid with Israelis - who certainly should know better. Electing and not removing the disgracefully inept, craven, feckless, corrupt Kadima government [Winograd cop-out] ; the forcible reprise of "peace talks" based on Saudi Arabia's 48 yr old agenda [propping up a swine like Abbas to front this farce], will I fear,will end worse than Oslo and Clinton's half-a*sed deals with Barak.

While I'm not at all a "religious" person, this lunatic charging pall mall toward an explicitly anti-religious "secularism" in Israel [and here] worries me. The moral underpinnings of our laws and Western Civilization would not have been possible without our Judeo-Christian underpinnings. Further, it seems they [Israelis], like we, have allowed their schools to get seriously screwed-up; our children [and "educators"] have been taught no history and are ignorant about the uniqueness and Blessings both Israel and America have had bestowed upon The People. They haven't a clue what they have, and they're even more ignorant about the tyrannous alternatives.
