Moderate Muslims vs. Islam

Islam is intolerant of Moderate Muslims. True islam requires total submission to Allah, and to the pontifications of Mohammad alleged to be from Gabriel. Either you believe in Islam and the Q'oran (the universal word of Allah but written in Arabic, and all other translations are demeaned by Islamic believers as not being correct, not conveying the true meaning of Islam, etc. ad nauseum).

The idea of individuals making up their own minds about their faith, or about sharia law, or about freedom to switch to another religion (the apostates, who suffer the death penalty if found) - all of this is against Islam, according to the folks who know the most about Islam, the Imams, clerics, etc.

Islam is fundamentally NOT a tolerant religion. The notion that there are "moderate muslims" with the ideas of tolerance for other religions, etc., is strictly theoretical. The only moderate muslims are those who think they are muslims, but don't really understand Islam, much like many Christians have never read the bible or know much about Christianity, or Jews who believe they should stop all Christian symbolism (the ACLU for example). What the ACLU doesn't understand is that it is the Christians who care about Israel, and if the ACLU is successful in removing Christianity from the USA, and allowing other religions to take over (which they will) Isreal will soon be gone, since nobody else in America really cares about Israel, most notably Muslims, or the non-existent Moderate Muslims that people talk about, but can never actually find one in a position of authority in the islamic world.
