The value of naming the enemy as THE ENEMYReader comment on item: Fourteen Terrorist Attacks a Day against Israel Submitted by jennifer solis (United States), Dec 9, 2007 at 15:29 Name one other country on the face of the earth that puts up with enemy artillery fire exploding on their soil. Why doesn't Israel defend herself? Don't they understand for every Qassam that goes un-answered, there's a burst of jihad pride and hopes of victory and incentive towards victory that goes along with it? On the flip-side, when was the last time Israel had hopes of victory? Oh, I forgot, they don't admit they are at war. Let's see, the Palestinian leadership and it's people DON"T RECOGNIZE ISRAEL'S RIGHT TO EXIST, and terrorist elements, even the children, within the Palestinian population repeatedly say things like "death to Israel", claim "paradise" waits for those who kill Jews, etc. (claims which go un-addressed, un-punished by Palestinian leadership, not to mention the daily Qassam rocket attacks on Israel). Yet Israel sees this as a "conflict" to be settled with "diplomacy". Compassion, negotiation, "land for peace" in any war never leads to victory. Therefore, it could be said that if Israel loses this war and ceases to exist, sadly she will be partially to blame for her own demise.
