Reader comment on item: Follow-up on Los Angeles' Would-Be Terrorists

Submitted by Donvan (United States), Dec 17, 2007 at 14:47

So called "Home grown terrorists" are examples of the dangers which exist when individuals internalize and self describe themselves as "Muslim". The pathological triggers may include suicidal/homicidal ideation, extreme hostility, which may be directed at 'others', infidels, Jews, Christians, but may also be directed toward familial females, where 'non submissive' behaviors are shown. 'Honor killings' by close relatives has the same genesis as 'Jihad', ie those deemed as insufficiently submissive. This is mainstream Muslim dogma. Force and violence to advance the Muslim agenda, which is the subjugation of all non Muslims, makes this unacceptable.
