Mentally UNFIT to stand trial?Reader comment on item: Follow-up on Los Angeles' Would-Be Terrorists Submitted by Svetlanatchkah (United States), Mar 6, 2009 at 20:04 Finally, another defendant, Hammad Samana, who has been ruled mentally unfit to stand trial, authored a document titled "Modes of Attack" that listed addresses of possible targets. Excuse-me? Mentally UNFIT to stand trial? Are they releasing IT from being properly prosecuted? Who advocated on his behalf and got the "mentally unfit" accepted? As usually, Muslim terrorists in the US are not terrorists but mentally unfit, distressed, poor creatures, deserving our pity as "left over" of the society- criminal due to the "circumstances". Coincidently, the only one that carries a Middle Eastern name. Am I missing something? Who got the mentally unfit accepted? A CAIR style lawyer?
