Liberals hate seeing themselves as they are, totalitarian fascistsReader comment on item: Fascism's Legacy: Liberalism Submitted by Ken Besig (Israel), Jan 10, 2008 at 02:16 Liberals always demand that everyone else agree with them, and if they do not, the Liberals either legislate that agreement, have the courts order it, or browbeat and berate their opponents into agreement. This also applies to their view of government which they see as involving itself in all aspects of life, including employment and home life. Hitler and Mussolini were both totalitarian socialists. Indeed, in Hitler's Germany, for example, every worker was guaranteed employment, but the important proviso was that no one could either move or change their job without government permission. The Liberal Left in the West has always been Socialist in policy and outlook, somehow believing, against all evidence to the contrary, that the goverment can run the economy more efficiently than the market, and run a person's personal and family life more effectively than the individual. For Liberals, any viewpoint opposed to theirs has no right to even exist, much less enjoy a following. Thus for Liberals, it is okay to shout down and even physically attack public speakers with whom they disagree, pass laws restricting freedom of expression by calling it hate speech, or create semi judicial commissions to monitor and punish writings or broadcasts which they wish to censure. This column by Dr. Pipes appeared in the Jerusalem Post, and several of the LIberal postings weren't just highly critical of his remarks, several of these Liberal bloggers went so far as to attack Dr. Pipes in the most disgusting ad hominem way possible. Just like the Fascist they claim to abjure.
