Dr. Pipes the Teacher

Remember when sitting in class and the professor would ask the big question and, of course, everyone had a response that would be partially correct and an argument would begin among the class. It could get downright uncomfortable.

Then the professor would point out the obvious answer and the light in your head would go on. "How did I not see that." "It's right there in front of me."

Professor Pipes just did that with "Bush the radical." "Jaw dropping" is an understatement. He is teaching us to understand geo politics as it is played out today. His instructive commentary makes us think for ourselves which is rather difficult in light of the amount of information, disinformation and the opinions of those not worthy of our attention. The news media, journalists, pundits and politicians, all vying for our time, crowd our thoughts and make the abillity to be informed, rather than just loaded up with data, almost impossible. "Don't think!" "We'll do that for you." "We know better."

Looking good, expensive suits, snappy reparte isn't informative. It sells but does nothing. Quiet genius with a lifetime of scholarship enlightens and can, when necessary, force us to think for ourselves. I know it's uncomfortable, but your brain will thank you in the morning.

Dr. Pipes your brillliant analysis of the President's speech is a landmark and makes the ability to sort through the usual rubble about America and Israel in today's tumultuous world positively enchanting.

There is a "beautiful mind" at work for the free world and all we need to do is listen.
