The history recognises Jews , not Israel !Reader comment on item: Denying the Jewish Connection to Jerusalem Submitted by brohi (Pakistan), Mar 13, 2008 at 06:10 Although Jews lived in this land but Israel never existed in the history except with the birth of present day Israel. The history of the ancient Near East is available from the 3d millennium bc and on, but a reliable and written history of of Samara (present day Israel) begins only about the time of David (1000-961 bc). This was the land of Canaan which in any manner can not be equated and linked with todays Israel. where the two nations one of them accepted Judaism (Samarians) lived in the north and Judah in the south, both of them were always at war with each other . In Judah the dynasty of David continued until the Babylonians took the country (597 and 586 bc), Samara fell to the Assyrian army in 722-21 bc.
