Seems pretty clear cut to me what is happening here

The historical facts regarding Jerusalem are quite clear. Contrary to claims by some Islamists, the architectural proof, in addition to numerous biblical passages, are fully compelling. It is incredible to me that many Islamists believe that simply by asserting falsehoods regarding the origins of Jerusalem, without any historical basis, that the rest of the world is expected to comply with these statements, which are political in origin. Unfortunately, the Koran makes it quire clear that falsehoods use to advance the cause of Islam are completely acceptable. This is a prime example of such behavior.
