I'm not an expert on Huckabee, or terrorism, for that matter, but...Reader comment on item: Mike Huckabee's Unique Foreign Policy Submitted by Meghan (United States), Mar 17, 2008 at 03:17 ...any fool can look at the situation around the world and come to the conclusion that poverty and lack of basic resources to meet basic human needs breeds terrorism. Granted, I didn't read all of Huckabee's statements on foreign policy, and the idea that we should just take Rwanda and Djibouti, draw a line around them, and rename the whole area "Palestine," is a bit preschool...but I thought the first two points quoted in the blog were fairly well-founded. If people did not live in poverty or oppression, they wouldn't have quite so many reasons to want to strap themselves to bombs.
