1000 years of Arab nothing

In the last 1000 years, since the demise of Mohammed in the 14-15th century, what have the Arab nations accomplished in the ways of science, literature, mathematics, poetry, art, etc. etc. etc.

It seems their expertise lies in lies, jihad, and killing, killing, and more killing.
