Thank youReader comment on item: Vanquishing the Islamist Enemy Submitted by jennifer solis (United States), Apr 22, 2008 at 01:49 Thank you for your very kind words. I'm still puzzled as to why, accepting there is a moderate Muslim majority, they do not fight against "Islamism" for their religion, the way Martin Luther, as well as John Wycliffe (1380), John Hus (1490), Thomas Linacre, John Colet, Erasmus, and many others fought against the Roman Catholic Church (during the Dark Ages, the Latin Vulgate), indeed, the Church of England, for the true translations of the Bible to be revealed. Why do these "moderate" Muslims not fight for their "true, peaceful" religion, if indeed it does exist? It is THE question mark hanging in the air. I think pacification of Islam as a whole enables "Islamism" to perpetuate itself. Combine this with the scripture of Islam, and you will never have a "Reformation" of Islam.
