Obama 4 points of support for Israel?Reader comment on item: Obama vs. McCain on the Middle East Submitted by Ynnatchkah (United States), Jun 5, 2008 at 13:44 Dr. Pipes, I do not see Obama's support for the Jewish State as a priority of his at all. He thrice reiterated his support for Israel? "The idea of a secure Jewish state is a fundamentally just idea and a necessary idea"… So a secure Jewish state is a fair idea. Only an idea, not a priority of his. Actually, not to infringe human rights, any secure state is a fair idea- right ? "The need to preserve a Jewish state that is secure is … a just idea and one that should be supported here in the United States and around the world" Should be supported or shall be supported, or will be supported by Mr. Obama? And how he intends to support a Jewish state, by abiding to Islamists? How he plans to place the orchestration of that and when it will take place? "…when I think about the Zionist idea, I think about how my feelings about Israel were shaped as a young man—as a child, in fact. I had a camp counselor when I was in sixth grade who was Jewish-American but who had spent time in Israel." When he thinks about the Zionist idea…Hum….Shouldn't he think about the Jewish Rights to be put on table when having Islamo Fascists blowing up them, to first destroy Hamas structure and then think about the ideology of Zionism? But how he finally thinks about Zionism? What are his feelings about Israel; b/c Menguele also lived in Israel before the extermination of the Jews in Europe…So what? Ah…He had a counselor who was Jewish, so what….Was the counselor a Finkenstein or a Chomsky style adopter…..Or, hopefully, a David Horowitz style. McCain promptly answered that with admiration regarding the strive of the Zionism. "When I started organizing, the two fellow organizers in Chicago were Jews, and I was attacked for associating with them. So I've been in the foxhole with my Jewish friends." Again, Mr. Obama…what kind of Jews were these Jews…The fact that they were Jewish does not mean anything. Were they Jews such as Adam Shapiro, the Jew? Can you be more precise? "I always joke that my intellectual formation was through Jewish scholars and writers, even though I didn't know it at the time. Whether it was theologians or Philip Roth who helped shape my sensibility, or some of the more popular writers like Leon Uris." So your sensibility was shaped, precisely speaking towards what trend of thinking and action and if you were so sensible, why the association with rev Wright? Behind the curtains…..What about the Chomsky support for you? And, Uris shaped your sensibility towards supporting...Hum....palestinians? "My staff teases me sometimes about anguishing over moral questions. I think I learned that partly from Jewish thought, that your actions have consequences and that they matter and that we have moral imperatives." Exactly, all actions have consequences, including the screaming one that made you disassociate from Wright, right after you were uncovered by the Media…. McCain knows that your Islamist fellow (Wright) threaten the civilization as a whole and uses the Jews as an excuse to perpetuate barbarism. Finally, regarding the West Bank, Obama makes clear his support for the Jewish eradication in the West Bank, not expressing using what manners, while not supporting the expulsion of Islamo Fascist Arabs from the whole Israel as a couter point for the sake of Israel security and for the sake of "findamental fairness and the "status quo". So the double standard is clear on the table. The point is Hamas, bad for Jews and Muslims, but Islamist Barack Hussein Obama is too negligent and coward to address that, and why should he if Hamas suporters support Obama? Very contrary to the "real macho (in the good sense of the term)", McCain. Bravo McCain. McCain has the guts, the fiber and the emotional inteligence to be the right one for presidency, when comparing to Obama. And of course Obama worries about winning pro Israel votes......Like Hitler worried just a couple of years ago and like Hamass worries when getting money to exterminate sane and sane supporters for Israel from Jewish Liberals Mentally Disables. Again it is proven that the best prediction of the future is the past of a person. I could say much more, but rest my case here.
