Dear Mr. Pipes,

First let me compliment you on your incisive analysis on the abysmal state of the Muslim world today. However, I don't share your optimism "that Muslims will eventually see that resistance to modernity has led to failure" — certainly it will not in our lifetime or for several generations to come.
