Radicals as TakfiriReader comment on item: How Europe's Counterterrorism Laws Differ from America's Submitted by Ornelas (United States), Jul 7, 2008 at 11:52 That is an interesting thought. I believe it is apparent what the Radical Islamists want done with takfiri (as well as kafiri), but what would Moderate Muslims suggest concerning takfiri? And if Moderate Muslims in mass designate the Radical Islamists as takfiri, what would happen? Not that I'm against the idea, but can you imagine the reaction in the Radical Islamist's world if a sitting President of the United States of American referred to Osama and crew as "Takfiri"? Or even better, if Obama called Osama a "Takfir"? Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
