A people are judged by their words and actions.

Regardless what is written in a holy book, it is how the majority of followers interpret these word and how they act. Yes, we all judge a people by their words and actions. There are those who advocate violence and then there is the silent majority who are complicit.

Very few are a Light unto the Nations (Abdul Rahman al-Lahim, Azar Majedi, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, Ibn Warraq, Irfan Al-Alawi, Magdi Allam, Michael Nazir-Ali, Mohsen Marzouk, Muhammad Al-Houni, Naser Khader, Nonie Darwish, Sallah Udin Shoaib Choudhury, Salim Mansur, Salman Rushdie, Tahir Aslam Gora, Wafa Sultan)

Words in your holy book:

"I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers, Smite ye above their necks and smite all finger tips of them." [Al-Qur'an 8:12]

"The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His apostle and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement." "And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers." [Al-Qur'an 3:85].

"Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islam, the Qur'an, and the Prophet Muhammad (sallalahu 'alaihi wa sallam)) from among the people of the Scriptures (Jews and Christians) and al-Mushrikun (Polytheists) will abide in the Fire of Hell. "And they (non-Muslims) will never cease fighting you until they turn you back from your religion (Islamic Monotheism) if they can." [Al-Qur'an 2:217].

"Now when you meet the unbelievers, smite their necks until you overcome them fully..." (Al-Qur'an 47:4).

"O you who have attained to faith! Fight against those unbelievers who are near you and let them find you adamant, and know that God is with those who are conscious of Him" (Al-Qur'an 9:123).

"O Prophet! Strive hard (lit., make "jihad") against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be adamant with them... " (Al-Qur'an 66:73).

"Slay the pagans wherever you may come upon them, and take them captive, and besiege them, and lie in wait for them at every conceivable place..." (Al-Qur'an 9:5).

'I have been made victorious with terror' –

….So says Muhammad according to Bukhari (Vol. 4, Book 52, Number 220).

"On the day of the battle of Uhud, a man came to the Prophet and said, 'Can you tell me where I will be if I should get martyred?' The Prophet replied, 'In Paradise.' The man threw away some dates he was carrying in his hand, and fought till he was martyred"

……So says Muhammad according to Bukhari (Volume 5, Book 59, Number 377).

'Kill any Jew that falls into your power.'"
