Oops, Wendy I replied to you earlier but somehow sent it to Krista insteadReader comment on item: Is the Middle East "Freer, More Hopeful, and More Promising"? Submitted by der Alleswisser (United States), Dec 26, 2008 at 14:53 so below is what I sent back to you. I have used your comments above to reply to others on this blog, so when you see my posts, you will recognize some of your comments. Very smart to have escaped Islam, horrible and sad most of all for women. The fact that Islam considers women to have nothing to contribute, except their bodies, alone dooms Islam into being an utterly failed civilization. Throw away half of your people as unable to contribute, perhaps mankind's biggest sin by the Islamics, the only competitor being the persecution of the Jews. The fact that not only Islamics have persecuted the Israelites but Christians as well makes them, I feel anyway, mankind's most persectuted people, a true miracle to even have survived. But Islamic women are not far behind. Islam a horrible affliction, the Qurans all should be gathered and burned, every mosque on the face of the Earth should be flattened, Islam banned forever, the thirtyish percent of hard core demonic fanatical Islamis hunted down and destroyed, and the victims of Islam, their women, and those who are too frightened by the evil to speak up, should be saved. Will it happen? Hard to say, not promising with all the decay of the west, France, Spain, England, Belgium, all now having meaning and pride only in history books, their glories past, their surrender to multiculturalism and hence the destruction of their identity, Politically Correct drivel. The recent presidental election going to the corrupt inept Democrats in America probably means the end for us as well, only hope that Obama can be good for the country remains. We just have to hope that the second time Michelle Obama was proud for her country is not the first time the non - Democrats have not been proud of their country. There is something in the Bible about a red cross being put on the doors of the Jews so that their next born would not be still borne, leaving only the Islamic children to be so. Why don't Islamic women quit mating with these guys, cast this evil aside, the latest version of what happened with the Jews. Islamic men apparently feel that their women are easily bullied. Take a look at American women, they are not afraid at all to speak up and assert their rights (maybe even to a fault, but at least they do not let themselves be pushed about.) You will probably even see a woman US president someday, if the Democrats do not totally destroy the country. Barney Franks, Maxine Waters, Bill Clinton, Gregory Meeks, if you know about those corrupt scoundrels, and Freddie/Fannie stuff. If you do not, these people are the bringers of then end of America, and the economic qualm and malise globally. How about Condalezza Rice, a black who IS qualified, and a woman at that. But sorry for the error, here is the post meant for you but posted to Krista in error, best wishes to you over and down there: Wendy, although I would be hard pressed to even dream of living up to your kind words, much less doing so, I will get back to you, just too busy right now. But, just in case you are a music lover, I am going to try to give you a perhaps invaluable gift, one that costs me nothing but the few seconds I take to type it. One of my passions is classical music, and the single most important person I admire is the one whose birthday was yesterday. Born in Bonn December 16th, 1770, was Ludwig Van Beethoven. His fellow musicians were stunned by his talent, Franz Schubert even stated that no one else perhaps should compose music as it would be impossible to match his music. He was going deaf, and contemplated suicide, but deceided to give the world "All the music within me." He was going deaf when he composed his unmatchable symphonies and all the other stuff, and he was totally deaf when he composed the ninth symphony three years before his death. This in my mind should take your breath away. Unfortunately, this could never happened in Islam. History records that he tried to play his pinnacle - of - all - piano compositions, not just then and not just for the next 200 years, for all time, and that when he did so, he could not, and so everyone realized that he was deaf. So gift number 1 for you, rent the movie "Immortal Beloved," and you will see and hear the story of Beethoven, and the moment described above. And this is the only movie I have ever seen in which you must see the credits in their entirety. Watch this and you will know why. And the final gift for any classical music lovers: WCPE broadcasts at 89.7 MHz with 100,000 watts from Raleigh - Durham - Chapel Hill, North Carolina. But most importantly, they are worldwide broadcasters via the internet, at www.theclassicalstation.org or www.wcpe.org This is 24/7 commercial free classical music that has many affiliates, is volunteer - powered and listener supported, and hopefully a wonderful gift for you and others.
