They Supported Hamas Before Israel's Counter-Terror OperationReader comment on item: Other Critics of Israeli Strategy in Gaza Submitted by Amerisrael (United States), Jan 17, 2009 at 13:02 I've seen this type of MSM hogwash a lot. In fact, while watching Fox, [CNN worse], Mike Tobin was reporting live from the Gaza. In his report , [I'm paraphrasing], he was discussing what he thought Israel's strategy might be. He stated that if Israel thought that the people in Gaza would be less supportive of Hamas by blaming them for them for the destruction and unfortunate civilian deaths, and less hateful of Israel, that is not the case. Tobin went on to make this statement: "With every airstrike and every bullet fired they hate Israel more."-Tobin [Fox] In other words Israel should not go after the terrorists and their supporters in Gaza, because the terrorists and their supporters don't like it. Tobin, along with the MSM, like to portray Hamas terrorists as somehow separate from the resident people of Gaza. They are not separate. Hamas, Islamic Jihad, PRC, Army of Islam, -they are the population of Gaza. That is where they come from. What Tobin should have said is this: "With every airstrike and every bullet fired, the terrorists and their supporters in Gaza feel the heat of the counter-terrorism operation. With every airstrike and every bullet fired, the IDF gets closer to bringing down the Hamas terrorist regime." I'm so sick of this double standard in the so called "war on terror." Are there any diplomats or politicians that are demanding an immediate cease-fire with Al-Qaeda or the Taliban terrorists? Hamas is terrorists just like Al-Qaeda. Israel's fight with Islamic terror is the West's fight against Islamic terror, and vice versa. The West needs to wake up!
